A better introduction

What is a digital business card?

Learn what a digital business card is, what it should contain, how QR and contact saving work, and when it is more useful than a paper card.

More than contact details

A useful digital business card explains who you are, what you do and what the recipient should do next. It can combine a short professional introduction with phone, email, website and relevant profile links instead of forcing someone to search across several services.

How sharing works

The same public card can be opened from a QR code, a direct link, an email signature or a message. A visitor should be able to read it on a modern phone, save the contact details and choose a direct action without installing an application.

What to include

Start with your name, role and organization. Add a concise explanation of your work, only the contact routes you actively monitor, and one clear next step. Too many links make the introduction harder to act on.

Keeping the card useful

A permanent address is valuable because the information behind it can change while the shared QR code remains stable. Review the card whenever your role, organization, availability or preferred contact method changes.

Does a visitor need the NexaCard app?

No. A published NexaCard opens in a web browser, so the recipient can view the card and use its available contact actions without installing an application.

Can I create a card before registering?

Yes. NexaCard provides a device-only preview builder. Registration is required when you decide to save and publish the card.

Is a digital card a replacement for every paper card?

Not always. A digital card is strongest when information changes often or a fast follow-up matters; paper can still be useful in settings where phones or QR scanning are inconvenient.
