A better introduction

Brand governance and employee card onboarding.

Define trusted company fields, member ownership, card approvals, joiner and leaver steps, and accessible templates for a governed digital-card rollout.

Classify fields by ownership

Mark the organization name, approved logo, office details and required disclosures as centrally managed where appropriate. Let members or responsible managers maintain names, current roles, biographies and direct contact routes.

Build accessible templates

Define hierarchy, spacing, contrast and required blocks in shared templates. Test long names, translated text, missing optional images and small phone screens before making a template the organization default.

Separate operational duties

Invitation, brand editing, publishing, export and billing permissions do not need to belong to the same person. Assign the smallest role needed and review access after internal responsibility changes.

Document joiner, mover and leaver steps

Create the workspace profile, verify identity, apply the right template, review the first card and record approval when required. On role changes or departure, revoke sessions and publishing access promptly, then follow the organization retention policy.

Does governance require every card edit to wait for approval?

No. Organizations can reserve approval for selected fields, templates or higher-risk changes while allowing routine personal details to remain under appropriate member control.

Should platform support silently impersonate an employee?

No. Support access should use an explicit, time-limited and audited session with a visible banner and read-only behavior by default.
